My mission is simple – understand your own unique capabilities better by observing how your dog lives life. Yes, my focus will be mostly on how I perceive what is going on in a dog’s mind. Are my observations final? Definitely, not; they are just that, my observations. There is no grand philosophical scheme here, Jacques Anatole Thibault (1844-1924) would say, “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.”

What I am simply asking is that you take time from the business of life, to enjoy your dog, your life and the limited time we each have on this earth. Find the peacefulness in your soul during a quiet walk through the woods with your dog, listen to the sounds of nature as they surround you and look with your mind’s eye at the possibilities ahead.
Then thank your dog; and yes, you could do this without a dog, but what fun would that be!
